Y'know... I noticed when I am bad every once in a while, and eat carbs (can't be good all the time!)... I lose weight

I had wondered if shaking things up is a good thing

 

I stopped eating a “cheat” meal and stalled out my metabolism. I’m eating nachos tomorrow even though my cabbage was so good and I want more tomorrow.

For your metabolism for weight loss, they do advise to change things so as to not make your metabolism go into "save mode", so you'll typically eat a few weeks below what you need in calories, then on maintenance, then go down again. That's the theory at least. I haven't found any normal diet that works for me.

Just about everything goes good with Bacon. Have you ever tried jalapeño poppers? jalapeños wrapped with bacon and stuffed with sausage. Put some cream cheese on top and eat.

 

My recipe for poppers...

Pineapple mixed into cream cheese, stuffed into the pepper, then wrapped with bacon. You'll need to parcook the bacon first, about half way to what you would to make it crispy!

 

Both sound good but I would have to omit the pineapple. I’ve had jalapeño poppers before. I prefer cream cheese over cheddar.

I can’t eat red meat. It’s too painful.

 

I never was a fan of meat but ate it sometimes. Now that my daughter gave it up, so did I. So hubby and son eat one meal and we another. Kind of like you and your family I think? I does make planning meals interesting.

 

I don’t eat dinner so it’s easier lol.

 

I think saw you post only one meal a day. How do you have enough strength to keep up with your husband? I guess I can’t say to much, I usually only eat two meals a day.

I don’t eat dinner because it gives me bad dreams and turns me into a kick boxer in my sleep. I usually eat a pretty big lunch. It seems to be enough. Every once in a while, I eat breakfast.

 

It appears that you seem to a lot of takeout. Not that there’s anything wrong with it. I love it when someone else cooks for me. I will say that was better than ours. Mr. C
