Been playing Street Fighter VI a lot. Got myself to Gold, and having a lot of fun on PS5. I've been playing Ready or Not and Cyberpunk 2077 while I wait for Final Fantasy XVI later this week.

2023 is such a banger year for games.

 

Just ordered Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Prime Day! I have it!

 

Great seeing my thread being semi-active, now that i have a little free time now i can start back posting. Cassie doesn't have SF6 but she wants it wait there is a new mario kart out?
going to have to give it a try looks like. Only games i had in my spare time we're lightgun games, anyone on here fans of old games like Time Crisis 1-5 or any Virtua Cop games? I got a Sinden Lightgun
and i love it! You all should check it out if you are into old games like duck hunt. The gun works on all tv's no sensorbar needed what so ever, Since my fiancee has a 14 year age gap (38 at the moment)
she missed out on alot she only remember playing Silent Scope in arcades when she was too young for those games and cant reach the gun at the arcade! i really hope Lightgun/On-Rails Shooters make
a huge comeback, sorry about going off topic, just hard playing catchup now been taking care of my fiancée making sure she recovers from her auto accident but wont stop her from gaming though lol

 

Im just tired of modern games being full of micro transactions, always online, loot boxes, whatever mechanic some other game had forced into it, being unplayably buggy for at least a week after launch, and all of the other junk.

Gimme a good indie game, or even just some twenty year old PC games and I'm happy to spend countless hours playing. I can't boot up Caesar 3 without staying up all night. But I just can't stay interested in a hollow skinner box of an open world where every single activity is just "follow the quest marker, shoot your gun a bit, then fast travel back."

What I'm saying is, you need to add "Fuddy duddy old gamer dude" option to the poll.

really does amaze me I play every now and then, whenever i can I really love indie games, i have really start losing faith in Triple A game studios, plaquing us all with
battlepasses, DLC's i don't mind DLC's but stuff like dance moves, weapon skins etc, now see my fiancee is the opposite every damn time seem like Warzone have new
weapon skins and she would just buy them like crazy, but i for one never was a fan of DLC's and all that stuff she's 25 im 38 so coming up playing games there was no
such thing as that, unlike Everquest and expansion packs, but it was up to you to buy them, nowadays its pay to win with most of these MMO's Elder Scrolls Online is probably
the only game i don't need to spend money buying items. This isn't a PSA bashing additional content people can do what ever they want to and pay what ever it's their money
and worked for it. But i been enjoying playing old games, and every since Quake II got a remaster the game is bigger than ever now, and miss those days of Arena Shooters
like Quake/Unreal/DOOM... got a little distracted and nearly forgot about this thread it's good seeing people participate in posting no matter if it's good or bad as long as we
have this thread as a platform to share our gaming time with others! Really appreciate everyone took the time and discussed gaming, so much going on in the world we need
an absolute escape from it.

Pc is the way….. now that it can use controllers really well the arguments for the console are dead now.

 

The music studio I run requires a ridiculously powerful PC to run, and so it is perfect for any and all games...though it cost as much as some people's car!!!
I built it myself, and it runs like a dream no matter how beefy

Yeah i game. DnD, Heroquest, Settlers of Caton, MTG, Uno, Yahtzee, strip poker, and of course chess. You mighr say im one of the cool kidz.

 

You should check out TCG player. You can scan your cards and see current market value. You can also sell driectly to them or through them to individuals. Might be a cash cow sitting there.

Great seeing my thread still alive and kicking I been enjoying the Quake II remaster, not sure how many of you played arena shooters
when they we're hot, but brought back many memories, and love the new expansion pack Call of the Machine, if any of you own Quake II
you'll get the new update for free, and if not it's like $10.00 anyways cant beat that ha. Since QuakeCon 2023 i been playing all things Bethesda/id Software
got back into Hexen, Heretic, Wolfenstein and all those great games, going to grab Starfield soon! Hopefully any of you guys played those games long ago
they we're so fun!

I say study alot of videos on hardware, youtube is great to learn but not many people are really experienced, and could run into problems, not to scare you
just saying they have youtubers like that, but i'd love to give out any advice if i can.
